Auction Of Gravitas

Being encased inside the glass,

All the corners looking at me.

Sans any ignominy, I gracefully

Posed for the creator. Being

His conception, I revered the

Attention. The onlookers had

A sight  that vacuoled me into

The vacuum. I stayed hung on

The wall for hours, hoping to

Be Set free. With the crowd

Thronging, the day become longer,

The night prepared to arrive.

From the hanging wall, the eyes

Gazed upon yet another day of stillness.

Being his subject for years now,

My stillness has lost its charm.

She is about to crumble anytime.

Yet I stood firm, letting

The tears stream, increment attention—

An emotional piece scripted in

History as the magnum opus.

To living artifact e'er to be

Auctioned. He had the galactic

Smile—the widest I had seen—sans an iota

Of disgrace, as the price skyrocketed.

The actuation drove him insane. The crowd

Gathered; the auction streamed live.

I exhausted my tears to sweat;

Sweat turned to blood.

Soon, I bathed in crimson.

Before I left, his smile thawed—he lay on

The floor.  I yearned for my freedom and my life,

To live at least one day with a smile.

Nothing else could save my dignity from the

Behemoths who rape me with their looks. My own

Partner knackered my blood to quench his thirst. I rescued

Myself from him and all the monster who gazed at me.

For the eventide to turn night, my words endured

Tacit for years. Now my actions to speak raucous. One last time,

I kissed the heaven, watching him part before me.
